How do I undo the static page function for the home page?

Um, TT. That FAQ doesn’t answer the question. Points you in the right place though.
Go to that page and choose the “Your latest posts” options and then click on “Save Changes” button.

Thank you the response it -pointed me in the right direction. I had unpublished my other page and that section had disappeared from the Options >> Reading.
I republished the page and ‘voila’ there it was and I could remove the static page from the home page.
Maybe it might be possible to leave a line of text stating ” If you wish to make your home page static you need at least one more page.: or leave the entire section visible but have no pages from the drop down menus – and include the line above.
To hide it completely when I had unpublished the other page was a lil frustrating. I spent a lot of time going across each category & thought I was going nuts – I knew I had changed it but couldn’t find where!
