Update MX Records in order to receive emails

  1. Hi there,

    I have configured the DNS settings on our domain provider 123-reg with the following details as instructed:

    But as it seems in order to receive e-mails you would need to update the MX records and add priority 10 and with priority 20; could you please enable this for us or instruct me on how this is done?

  2. Hi there, you can set up MX records in your domain administration area, at Store > Domains. The full instructions are here:

    Be sure to follow the example of how the MX records must be formatted to work correctly.

    First of all, I can't see the STORE that I need to go for the DOMAIN page and ADD EMAIL. Clearly this makes it impossible for me to make any changes!

    I can go through to the STORE when I click on the menu at the bottom (, but then I can't find the DOMAIN page!

    Please assist

  4. I managed to get in to the STORE ( and go to DOMAINS, but I dont get the possibility to Add Email... please assist

  6. sorry to say but can't find the STORE and therefore the DOMAINS!!

  7. In order to set up email, you first have to map your domain to your site by purchasing the domain-mapping upgrade, which you can do under Store > Domains:

    Here are instructions for how to map an existing domain:

    Once you've mapped your domain to your site, you should see all the domain-management options, and be able to set up your MX records by following the instructions above.

    Thanks for your helpful advice Kathryn. I have added my email again based on this info My provider is Go Daddy. I already added my email a few weeks ago but it does not seem to have activated.
