Upgrade space not showing after purchase.
I purchased a 50GB upgrade space, but is still not showing on my blog.
They already charged my credit card and I have the receipt on my email.
The blog I need help with is passageirodeprimeira.com.
So what should I do? Wait for them to apply my upgrade? I need urgent the space to upload some pictures.
Yes, wait. If you just want to upload some pictures and you must do it immediately, I suggest you just register another free blog, upload the pictures to that, then copy the URL of the image from that blog’s media library and use Post By URL to put it in your main blog. Not ideal, but it will work.
Also, you should be optimizing your images before uploading them. 72 dpi is all the web can display anyway, and at that resolution you should be able to go for years without needing another upgrade.
How long does it take usually for them to correct the mistake?
I’ve never seen this bug before, so I have no idea how long it will take, but I can say staff will prioritize this and tackle it before other issues, because it’s widespread and important. How long it takes them to fix it, who knows?
I tried to access the store now and it says they are under maintenance , so I hope they will fix it as soon as possible.
Good, that’s a sign they’re working on it now and hopefully no more people will be caught like this.
Earlier today we had some technical difficulties with our upgrades systems. For a a short time this morning, anyone who tried to purchase or renew products with us were charged but their items did not end up in their account or get renewed.
We have fixed the issue on our end and have made sure that if you attempted to purchase or renew your upgrade more than once that all additional upgrades have been refunded to you!
We strongly recommend that you log in to your account’s Dashboard and navigate to the Store link and then to My Upgrades to review what items are currently in your account. If there are any items missing you can purchase them through your Dashboard >> Store.
If you attempted to purchase a domain, we do apologize, but you will need to attempt purchasing it again by adding it via Store >> Domains in your blog’s Dashboard.
