Uploading .exe eBooks

I intend to offer eBooks downloads to my registered users. I have gone through the list of file types wordpress.com permits. Nowhere I found mention of .exe files under the permitted file type category. My eBooks will be HTMl compiled to EXE format with the .exe extension. I would like to know if files with .exe extensions are permitted or not.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello there,
Currently, you are permitted to upload the following file types to your WordPress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/

If you wish to provide them in another format like a PDF the following processes are outlined particularly for users who wish to upload a document and add its download link to a blog post or page. If you are seeking to simply upload a document to your blog’s Media Library (no download link), you can check out Media -> Add New in your dashboard. http://support.wordpress.com/media/media-add-new/

If you want to embed the document itself, you will have to use a third party application like Scribd or Google Docs. Otherwise, the documents will appear as a download link.
    See here:

HTML compiled to EXE format and the downloadable file will be in the .exe executable format.

Nowhere I found mention of .exe files under the permitted file type category.

if it is not in the OK list it is not allowed

    Hello there,
That’s why I posted what I did above in paragraph 2 and 3 of my answer. :)

Dear timethief, thanks for the links and your suggestions.
Dear auxclass thanks for your response. I understand that at this moment executable file format/ category is not allowed by wordpress.com. I am a bit sad :(
But, in trying to remain positive I am hoping for the best “someday” soon :)

You’re welcome and best wishes with your blog.

Morning @TT – I know but the OP did not believe you – I bit my keyboard and was civil
