    Hello,
So whenever a visitor clicks on my blog, the font for about a couple of seconds is different than the one I selected. It then reverts back to normal. This has happened in every circumstance. At first I thought it was my browser, but on all devices this happens. In some instances, it stays different until you reload.
    Any help?
    Thanks in advance,
    Frank

The blog I need help with is gracileatom.wordpress.com.

I understand that this is not relevant to the issue raised above, but is there any way I might change my username?

    Hi Frank,

I notice that this happens when you select a different font. It loads the original font first, “Helvetica Neue”, and then loads your chosen font, “Noto Serif”. I’m tagging “modlook” for staff assistance on the theme.

For you other question, here is a link on how to change your username:

It’s advisable to have a separate thread for each question you have. You may click on the link below to start a new one:

    Hope this helps!

Although the modlook tag has already been added I thought it was worth drawing your attention to this detailed explanation by a staff member when someone had a similar question: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/baskerville-2-switching-fonts-after-loading-the-page?replies=6

    Hi there,

Please see the explanation in the thread @themagicrobot linked to. This is not a bug, but has to do with the way custom fonts work on WordPress.com – we first load the theme’s default font and then load the custom font so people with slower connections don’t have to stare at a blank page while waiting for the font to load. The only way to prevent it is with custom CSS, for which you will need to Premium Plan.
