View by country stats not working

  1. Hello. I'm pretty sure I've seen view by country stats at some point in the past month come up on my dashboard. However, they now don't. I have the dashboard links still available, but clicking on them makes nothing happen. Any ideas?

    Do you happen to be using IE9 in compatibility mode? If you are that renders as IE7 and IE7 is not supported so diable it. Which browser and version of it are you using please? If you don’t know click here to find out >

  3. Clicking that link tells me (I think) that I'm using MSIE7. So, that would appear to solve that particular issue. I thought I was on a more receent IE version.

    I also just looked around the forum threads and found that others have had a similar question to ask re: 'view by country'. I just tried using the dashboard with Firefox and that works (I can see the 'view by country' stats, and I can also use Reader in Firefox, which didn't really work in IE). I think I'm also using compatability mode in IE, by the way (it helps with another site I regularly visit).

    So, I guess the answer for me is to 'view by country' using Firefox. Thanks for your prompt reply.

  5. OK!! Well, the things you learn each day! Thanks for that link, and after a little research from it and following instructions and piecing it together, I've managed to find out that I had compatability mode on for ALL my websites visited. I've now adjusted that to just the ones I think still need it. The result is that I can now see my 'view by country' stats in IE too. I think I may be on IE8 or 9 as I'm on Windows 7 (that is, IE8 comes with Windows 7?)

    Anyway, the main focus is that I can now see the stats in IE as well as Firefox.
