I am new to WordPress and do not have a blog.
Even though I am logged in, everytime I try to view a picture, I get a message telling me to sign in in order to have access to the pictures.
Please help, it would be greatly appreciated!
It would help to know what site it is you are trying to view when this happens. Please give us a link, starting with http:// to make it clickable.
If by chance you are referring to a site marked Private by its owner, you do have to be invited by the site owner to view it.
I’m sorry for not providing enough info.. Here it is:
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply!
When I visit this page, http://girlfrommalibu.wordpress.com/captions/ all the images are missing and if I try to open an image in a new window/tab, I get the following message:
— 403: Access Denied —
This file requires authorization:

and a member of this blog.
Log in to proceed.
Apparently the owners at girlfrommalibu.wordpress.com are hosting their image files on a different WordPress.com website (http://theelitegymnast.wordpress.com/) which has been marked “Private” by the owner. This means only logged in members of theelitegymnast can view it and in order to be a member, the website owner must invite you.
To me it seems a bit odd to set up a Public website this way.
Ok.. I guess there’s not much I can do.
I really appreciate you getting back to me and explaining everything.
