Visitors cant leave comments?
Please can anyone tell me if a person has to be a member of WordPress themselves to be able to leave a comment?
I’ve had a couple of people leave comments without any problem but one person tod me they were asked to log in before they could leave a comment which was not possible for them as they aren’t a member of WordPress.
I really hope it isn’t only logged in members who can comment
Please can anyone clarify this issue for me?
Thanks ever so much
The blog I need help with is onahaynes.wordpress.com.
No,you don’t have to be a wordpress member to comment on a blog post.fi you’re not you will have to leave a username and an email adress when you post your comment.
Oh OK thats great thanks. As you can tell I’m very new to this! Thank for helping me! :-)

Now comments linked to your account are always going to be from you. … read more > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/you-must-be-logged-in-to-comment/page/11?replies=327#post-852388
