As well as having a bug in Visual Editor that adds spaces automatically and means I have to edit everything in html mode, today lots of my posts are all in Bold lettering, even though this doesn’t appear in either Visual or HTML Editor. The post I did this morning seems ok but there are gremlins creeping in all over the place this week. I am going to switch (not because of this) away from wordpress today but it would help if these problems were addressed.
snookerbacker.com is the website I am referring to by the way.
That’s because you’ve left an unclosed tag in the post “The PTC5 Final Live Updates: Another Mustard Moment?”, so that tag affects all the rest of the page.
If you switch the editor to HTML, you’ll see this: <strong>Prediction Contest:
It should be: <strong>Prediction Contest:</strong>
But more properly there should only be one opening strong tag before “The Final” and one after “free bet!!”. In other words, you can write all the content then select the region you want to turn to bold type.
To make sure such a problem won’t ever creep up again, go to Settings>Writing, tick the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”, click Save Changes.
