    Hi all,

    Just wanting to center-align the widgets at the bottom of my blog page. Wondering how this can be done as I can’t find anything on the forums thus far.

    Thanks!

    The blog I need help with is stillwaterhaze.com.au.

    @timethief I read in another post from a staff member that it was only “frowned upon” to remove the credits, not illegal? I am planning to credit wordpress/theme creator in another place just not the home page. Is that still not allowed. Sorry, new to wordpress!

    While I’m here, I’m trying to widen my header to the width of the mosaic my home page but it seems no matter what I try (resizing image/reuploading/widening blog width) it won’t go any wider than it is showing now.
    Any help to do with this would be fantastic also. Thank you.

    That information is either incorrect or very old. You must leave the footer credits in tact. However, you can change the way they look to blend in better if you’d like.

    I checked http://stillwaterhaze.com.au/ and I don’t see any footer widgets there now. If you’d like help with those, try adding them back and reply back here.

    I checked http://stillwaterhaze.com.au/ and it looks like you fixed this by updating the Content Width value in the Appearance → Themes → Customize → CSS panel, which was exactly the right thing to do.

    thanks designsimply, i’ve reinstated the credits at the bottom.
    apologies, the widgets I want to center-align are on the ‘our story’ page and ‘contact’ page.

    The credits do need to be on all the pages. Can you please add them back?

    #1336195

    done. sorry, mustn’t have hit “save” on the CSS when I removed the coding.

    I looked at http://stillwaterhaze.com.au/our-story/ and http://stillwaterhaze.com.au/contact/ and I don’t see widgets there right now. Maybe you mean you want to center the sharing button and the likes?

    Try this example to see if it’s what you’re looking to do. It will center sharing buttons:

    div.sharedaddy .sd-content {
    	text-align: center;
    	width: 100%;
    }
    div.sharedaddy .sd-content ul {
    	display: inline-block;
    }

    That’s exactly what I meant! Haha sorry I’ve been referring to them as widgets incorrectly. Thanks so much for your help designsimply!

    Semantics. :)
