Want to change Motif theme "Older Posts" appearance
-
Can you please tell me how to change the appearance of the “Older Posts” button in the Motif theme? I do not self-host so will need the CSS code. I’m also pretty new to CSS so will need the entirety of the code to make it work.
Currently, the text is red and I’d prefer black.
Also, when you hover over it the background changes to red and the text to white… I’d prefer it to change to black background with white text.
Thanks!!

Hello,
Please add the following CSS:
#infinite-handle span {color:#000!important} #infinite-handle span:hover {color:#fff!important;background-color:#2E2E2E!important}

Perfect!
I spent HOURS trying to fix it on my own… And when I first pasted your suggestion in, it didn’t work.
Then I realized I didn’t include the closing “}” in my last modification. No wonder everything was failing to change the button!
Thanks so much for your help!

One more question… Can you tell me how to do that on an individual blog post? With the same color scheme?
Here’s a link to a post, and at the bottom it links to previous and next blog and I would like to change that: http://traumamamadrama.com/2016/02/20/427/
Thanks!

For the post previous and next sections at the bottom of the posts, add the following. I’ve used the colors you used for the Older Posts button on the blog page.
.post-navigation a { color: #000; } .post-navigation a:hover { background-color: #2e2e2e; color: #fff; }
