I need some help regarding my blog. I have recently changed theme from the Andreas 09 to Enterprise and made some changes to the CSS. It all looks fine, but since then I have had this webpage error at the bottom left of the browser and I can’t understand why?
Can someone help me please?
The blog I need help with is fcboro.co.uk.
Hello there. This isn’t a support question it’s a CSS question. I will flag this thread so our Moderator moves it to the CSS forum for you. Then the Volunteers who help with CSS editing will see it and help you.
I can’t see anything on the blog linked by your username here. What should I be looking out for?
I’m seeing a “fail to load 404 in web inspector for typekit.com.
Did you set some fonts with the old theme and then not update the CSS selectors when you switched to the new theme?
I’m not sure what you are referring to, but I don’t have any errors show on firefox or google chrome? I’ve now switched to Chrome.
I though you said you had an error showing up at the bottom left of the browser window? In general, FF and Chrome will not list errors that do not prevent them from doing a reasonable job of rendering the webpage. Even Safari will not alert to lesser errors.
I found the error by looking at web inspector to see if I could figure out what was causing the error on your site that you were alerted to. Web inspector told me that there was an issue with something from typekit.com.
Just because you aren’t alerted to an error in FF or Chrome doesn’t mean there isn’t an error.
There was an error on IE, although I just checked to see if it was still saying “Done, but with error on page.” and it now doesn’t surprise surprise.
The initial problem was something do with the “wp remote server” but it now seems to be ok.
Thanks for everyone’s help.
I’m glad to here you resolved this. Happy blogging.
