What am I missing in the Debut Theme?

  1. The Debut tutorials on Vimeo by Luke MacDonald work with a lot more content that I am seeing on my pages. For example, if I click on Appearances --> Theme Options, I have the following options: Logo & Header, Layout Options, Blog, Hero Slider, Featured Content and Footer. In addition, in each of these options, there are only a few items to choose from. On the Vimeo tutorial, each tab in the menu at the top when clicked on has multiple options to modify and edit pages. I just purchased Debut last month so it is up to date. What am I missing here?

  2. The Debut tutorials on Vimeo by Luke MacDonald refer to the version of the theme that's for WordPress.ORG software. WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG so not run on exactly the same software and the versions of themes we have here don't necessarily have all the features the WordPress.ORG versions have. What applies to our version of the theme is found here:

  3. Debut is a premium theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum don't have access to or experience working with premium themes. Read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there.     Can I download Debut Theme to function on WordPress.ORG and download as a zip file. The limitations on are not what I was expecting.



  7. I'm sorry but the answer is "no". themes aren't transferable as the two run on slightly different software. However, you ought to contact the theme designer as the may have a version of the same theme.
