What are the incoherant words and numbers on my post?

  1. What are the incoherent words and numbers on my past post? It is towards the bottom of the post. I worked off-line and then cut and paste. Could this be the reason?

The blog I need help with is

  2. The incoherent words and numbers are in a draft. I didn't publish it yet.

  3. You usually are very fast to reply. Since I haven't heard from you regarding the above issue I'm assuming I am correct in my assumption about it. I would like to say three further things about this -- Writing is not easy for me. I have learning disabilities. Working off line and then cutting and pasting is very helpful in writing my blog. Previously, I was able to do this, when I had a blog before. Two, I understand the concern about plagiarism but I am not plagiarizing. And three, because of this I will stop writing and delete my blog. I realize one blog means nothing, when so many others are writing on WordPress. However, I have heard that blogging is becoming a thing of the past, and one of the reasons is that people are no longer happy with their service. I understand this problem. Thank-you.

  4. The incoherent words and numbers are in a draft. I didn't publish it yet.

Volunteers cannot view drafts only Staff and you can. What is the title of the draft? I'll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  5. The name of the draft is "Don't Worry." Thank you for your very fast assistance.

  6. Thanks for that title. :) Staff will answer threads tagged for their attention before yours was tagged first and then will work their way forward to the most recently dated threads. Please be patient while waiting.

  7. Yes, copy-pasting is almost certainly the reason but we can't say for sure if we can't see it. To avoid copy-;paste errors, use a proper blog editor like Windows Live Writer, which works very similarly to Word but allows proper blog formatting, image uploading, categories and tags as well.

  8. @raincoaster
    Thanks :)

Microsoft Word is a word processing program that’s not compliant with web standards. The result of copy and pasting from Microsoft Word into the Tiny MCE editor in WordPress blogs can be unexpected, and contain a lot of formatting code that's not compliant unless you know how to use the built-in features in the Visual editor for using Word cleanly.

Note you need to click the kitchen sink icon #15 at the end of Row 1 to have Row 2 appear.

Go here and enable this > Settings > Writing
_ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically
    "save changes"

I recommend using Windows Live Writer for posting to your blog >

  9. I will check out these options and suggestions. Thank you. I'll get back with you.

  10. Using Windows Live Writer did the trick! Thanks for your help.

  11. I'm so happy to hear that. Happy blogging! :)
