What happened to Ecopressed?

I don’t know if this has been covered, but I was wondering what the status of Ecopressed was? I thought this site was affiliated with WordPress, but it hasn’t been active for months. Any chance it is coming back? Any direction on it?
The blog I need help with is progressivetimes.wordpress.com.
Much as I like being green, I found the Ecopressed prompts quite intrusive, barely better than any other spam. I don’t miss it a bit. I can choose when to read about green topics all by myself, thanks.
