What happened to Freshly Pressed?

  1. This week I noticed that nothing is displaying under "Freshly Pressed" when I go to the main WordPress Page. Why is that?

The blog I need help with is

  2. Some people are having problems viewing it and some aren't. I don't have any rpoblem seeing it and I'm using Firefox 11. These are the troubleshooting steps we take whenever any issues like this arise:
clearing your browser cache and cookies >
using the browser with all extensions or add-ons disabled
updating the browser to the latest stable version (not a buggy BETA browser version)
confirming third party cookies is enabled
    confirming JavaScript is enabled
confirming Flash is updated and if required installing the latest version of Flash
resetting your router and modem and rebooting your computer
then logging in using the secure https:// log-in see
    trying another browser

If those do not work we need to know:
    (1) How are you connecting to the internet and to The way you connect to the internet (mobile, satellite, DSL, dial-up) and to your blog, and how many proxy server jumps etc. it takes to connect can cause problems. There maybe be problems with your ISP and/or with the proxy servers.
    (2) And exactly which browser and version of it are you using. If you don’t know click here to find out >

  3. Everything looks good on my end. Like I stated, last week, when I would click on the "Freshly Pressed" tab on, the sites would display. Now, nothing displays but the blank box. It is like the link is not correct (!/fresh/). The only tab that works fine is "My Stats". All the other ones are blank, too. My wordpress blog is also still functioning.

I connect via DSL and my browser is MSIE 9.0.

  4. After some research, it seems that IE 9.0 has issues. I have reverted back to IE 8 and everything is once again working as it should.

  5. I'm having the same issue with the main links on the front page (opened this forum post with no resolution yet, so you can reply to me here or there). I appreciate your suggestions here, timethief, but none of them has solved the problem. I'm using a current version of Google Chrome (19.x) and had been using an outdated version of Firefox but just updated to version 12 and am still experiencing the problem there as well. Any other tips or tricks you know of?

  6. Staff have been assisting those with Reader issues and Topics page issue in this active thread which you can post into. As you can post there I will flag this thread for closure.
