  1. Have you ever had a post that you KNEW was great? Post your very best all-time writing here - and lets check out each other's greatest work!

The blog I need help with is

  2. My best post ever (in the whole 3 and a bit months I've been blogging!) was The Hunger Games and Ancient Rome, in which I describe how Suzanne Collins ripped off ancient Rome for her world-building in The Hunger Games.

  3. Don't know about best, but one of my most popular posts was this one;
    Sigurd the Viking

  4. And still my links don't bleedin' work. Grrrr!

  5. Ah, I know why now.
Too many https etc. God I'm thick.

  6. maybe most recent fun was about Puddles

  7. I'm not sure why I have the poetic urge lately - but am pleased with the outcome of my 'invisibility' idea.

Although I think one of my best was this one:

  8. @melody - beautiful 'Invisible woman' sorry can't click 'Like' as you have 3rd party cookies enabled :(

  9. and more beautiful 'Primordial ooze' :D

  10. Thanks dovesgold. Um - what about my cookies??

  11. You have third-party cookies on your blog; I have mine disabled therefore when I enter one of your blog pages the grey top bar does not appear :) lol your blog still managed to leave a cookie in my browser though, but I deleted it lol :D

  12. I think this is probably my best. The writing isn't anything exceptional, but I think the story is great - one of my favorites. I'd love to hear what you think.

    This is my second favorite.

  13. I really loved my post about never truly being alone - footprints in the sand. It means the world to me and I hope you all check it out, just as I will check out all of yours!

  14. This one gets a lot of comments and I'm proud of it. It's about my autistic son.

    A Child's Wish

  15. I was quite pleased with how this recent one turned out. It's about street preachers:

  16. I actually like this one, where I took a journalist to task. Not much i the way of comments, but heaps of page views.

Doesn't matter, because I like the article! I made me feel better!

  17. Resisting the Urge was Freshly Pressed last December, so I rate that as one of my best posts :)

  18. The World Was His for the Reading

I'm usually a photo blogger, but this is definitely one of my best written works.

  19. habituatedbuddhist

While not my best writing, was disappointed this one didn't do better.

    On Forgiveness

  20. snoozingonthesofa

  21. hutchagoodlife

    Ummm probably this one:

It got quite a few likes and made people laugh.

  22. @snoozing on the sofa - I enjoyed them both!

@habituated buddhist - I left you a comment on your interesting perspective.

  23. @hutchagoodlife - I already liked that one! :)

  24. thistimethisspace

The one I have yet to create. :)

  25. On my writing blog I think this is my best post, and best nature post so far -

  26. I keep on looking at this topic thread and don't even know how to answer the question. It depended on the topic and how I wrote about it with pics.

I probably have about 3-4 favourite ones that I am particularily proud and know there have been a decent amount of viewing hits/referrals. Yea, I'll get to posting them..I need some sleep.

  27. My site is mainly about webcomic reviews, but I find that my favorite posts are when I go into historical comics, do the research, and come away with new appreciation of some of the classic comic strips of yore. Perhaps my favorite of those was around Halloween time, and I did a post on The Addams Family. It made me realize how fantastic an artist Charles Addams was, and was a little sad that his style is so rare to see nowadays, even in his familiar haunts of the New Yorker magazine.

Along those same lines, I decided to tackles Prince Valiant at some point, and while I wasn't a fan of the comic growing up, I became such a fan doing my research that I went and ordered the first reprint volume as soon as I'd finished. Hal Foster's illustrations were just so good, I had to see them firsthand.

  28. @TT - great answer! :)
