en WordPress.com Forums › Support When exporting, will I keep images? Author Posts November 23, 2008 at 11:01 am #298415 arcadebergMember Hi. If I choose to export my blog-data because I want to move it to another one, will I also keep the images included in the posts, the will the URL still be correct? I’m about to move from a wordpress.com-hosted blog (arcadeberg.com) to a wordpress.org blog I’ll post (using the SAME domain). I couldn’t find any info on this in the FAQ. Thank you. But if you set your WP.com blog private, they will vanish from your new blog. And if you delete it, I believe all your images go poof as well. Thanks for the help November 23, 2008 at 11:37 am #298635 raincoasterMember Yes, that’s what I mean. WP still hosts them, but they show them in your new location. Image URLs remain the same as before the export. November 23, 2008 at 11:57 am #298637 arcadebergMember Very well, thank you. Is there anyway to change the properties of all image-URLs on my blog?
