Where can I see VISITORS not Visits - PER POST?

  1. Hi there,

I am trying to track how many visitors each post receives for a period of time. I went through all the available stats and was not able to find this info.
    Any advice would be welcome.

The blog I need help with is

  2. Go to!/my-stats/?view=postviews&date=2013-05-01
Click the magnifying glass next to the post title.

  3. Hi TimeThief,

Those stats are for views and not VISITORS. Am I missing anything?

  4. I'll let another Volunteer work through this for you as I'm not a stats focused person.

  5. Do be aware that there was no ability to track unique visitors until December 2012.

  6. WordPress.COM only has visitors recently (per above) - I am not aware of any visitors per Post stats that are built in - Don't think Stat Counter will do visitors per Post either - over a few days the visitor vs/ views should balance out for any individual Post - probably depends a bit on the type of site you have - i.e. where a single person views many Posts they might go back to an index page or the same base page -

@TT has a very high traffic site and does solid SEO & other things to make traffic for the whole site go up and I don't think she worries much about an individual Post -

I think you will need to go to a third party stats provider but no idea which one would work for you

  7. Thanks for the reply guys. Not really good news, but... :-(

  8. Do you mind telling us why this isn't good news?

  9. I wanted to launch a friendly competition among all contributors of our blog. The ones to get more visitors (not views) to their posts would win a prize.
Just a little incentive to get folks promoting their blog posts - and hopefully we'd get more new visitors that way.
Not a real big deal. :-(
Thanks again for all your help.

  10. Oh, I see now why you wanted that information. Sorry but it's not available.
