I just purchased an upgrade which should allow for more fonts and colors... but I don't see it on my dashboard.. Am I missing something?
    Thanks Diane R.

The blog I need help with is hometogo232.wordpress.com.

I guess I was not understanding exactly how this works..I'll have to read more. I thought that these options would appear when I go and do a 'new' post like the other options do so I could select at random what font or color I wanted to use.

Now it looks like this is a one-time change for all posts??

  4. No that's not the way this custom design upgrade works at all.

These are 3 ways to change fonts on WordPress.com blogs.

    (1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the Text HTML editor. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/formatting-text-pt-5/

    (2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2

    (3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts via CSS editing

So this is a one-time change then ...for all future posts? Will it change the posts I've already done? I probably should have stayed with what I knew... I'll have to think about this...

So if I select a choice for title and body of text it will be that on all future posts ? Can I change it at some point if I decide to ..again?

Sorry if I seem 'dense' ...I guess I am ...

What support docs? I told you I'm dense lol

I don't do anything complex... but I'll go to your links... Thanks Diane

  7. Hi Diane! The best place to start is by going to Appearance > Customize in your blog dashboard. Then click the different options like "Colors" And "Fonts" in the blue menu on the right.

Does that help, or did you already find what you needed before?

Thank you .. I finally found out how to do it and that I could do it as often as I wanted... It's just not exactly what I thought.. but it's okay... Thanks for asking.. Diane

  9. Cheers, Diane :)
