Where is delete payment data option

    I need to remove my stored credit card details and can’t find the “Delete Payment Data” option anywhere in Account Options.

    I have logged in to WordPress.com using an email address which has just received a domain upgrade invoice. I went to:


    There is no option to “Delete Payment Data” in Account Options, as this thread this thread describes.



    You must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog who is the Admin of the blog and who and purchased the upgrade.



    If you are logged in under the correct username account then go to > Store > My Upgrades
    Locate the domain mapping upgrade and below it you will see these links:
    DNS is correct| Update Credit Card | Disable Auto Renew | Cancellation Info | Transfer to another site




    I think I must have set the blog up under different usernames, which I no longer remember (and are not displayed in users).

    I have checked by logging in using two different WordPress.com usernames and can only see the following options in Store > My upgrades:

    DNS is correct | Cancel | Transfer to another site

    Just no option to “Delete Payment Data”.

    The only Admins on these two blogs are myself (the username I am currently logged in as and commenting on this forum) and the client.

    All I can think of is that I set the blogs up several years ago using a different WordPress.com username, swapped the Admin role to another of my usernames, and I have since forgotten the original username.

    It seems odd that domain mapping upgrades for the two blogs are showing “Active, Manual renewal” yet they both automatically renewed and billed my credit card this year.

    I appreciate your help and links but I’m really stuck with this now.
