Thank you for responding. I can see my blog fine but there is no blog for others to see on the web. For instance, when you type in google or yahoo,, nothing comes up.

    Where did I go wrong?
I tried to download wordpress and I think it worked. But I'm not sure.
Could that be the issue? No download?

  4. I can see your blog as plain as day by simply putting this link in my upper browser bar and clicking it.

As your blog has very little content and as it takes time for search enigines to index content, I suggest you start publishing frequently and take note of the 10 factors that tend to expedite indexing of blog content by search engines.

You can verify your blog ownership with the major search engines by using this guide. Your blog is enabled with just about everything you need to be super-searchable. This includes an XML sitemap, which you can access at
No need to do anything extra on your end. It's automatically done for us bloggers.

  5. Your blog is brand new. It takes a while for Google and other search engines to find and index your site.

As a starting point, you might want to familiarize yourself with Google Webmaster tools, especially the FAQ:

As you build content, you should start seeing your site pop up in Google and elsewhere. Be patient! :)

I'm very quick. Aside from the issues in Modlooked threads, we regular Volunteers (raincoaster, thesacredpath, auxclass, justjennifer, justpi) are long time bloggers so we know most answers and have some copy and paste ones we can post instantly. ;)

You're welcome. :) On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the Learn blogging Tutorial prepared by Staff.
The support documentation is all found at the Support link which is also on the bottom of your Admin page.
    Happy blogging! :)

  9. @timethief, I'm aware of that, and I'm glad we have so many great volunteers here. You make it easier for everyone!
