Where is my drafts folder?

  1. Hi Folks,
I am a Newbie. I just entered a new blog entry at my blog

I was busy with a new blog entry, was saving my draft as I went along, then published. All I could see was my photo but no text. So, where is my text, I could not find a drafts folder?

    Any ideas?

The blog I need help with is

  2. Dashboard > Posts > All Posts
look at the top of the page and find (Drafts) and click the link

  3. Thank you so much for your prompt reply!

However, when I go to the dashboard, it says under Recent Drafts: There are no drafts at the moment.
When I go to Posts and All Posts I do not see anything that says Drafts.

    Sorry, I am still lost...?

  4. Go to Posts > All Posts, hover over the title of the post, click Edit and check the Post Revisions module for previous saved versions of the post.

If you're not seeing the Revisions module while on the editor screen, click Screen Options (top right corner of your Admin page) to activate it. Then select the post and page modules to include them. Then you ought to be able to go here > Dashboard > All Posts > Posts and locate the post and recover it from post revisions.

Did you create your post on the dashboard of your own blog?
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New

Or did you create your post on the front page of!/post/

  5. @seguiriya
Did you try clicking the link I provided above?
    Click >

  6. Yes, I tried your link, it was blank.
I will now try your other suggestion.

  7. My fingers are crossed for you.

  8. Thanks. I was able to add the Revisions through the Screen Options. None of them contain the text.

Hm, I created my entry through the page and not through the dashboard of my blog. Coming to think of it, the last entries were through my dashboard. Oh why oh why did I do this :)
