Where is needed Featured Image option…?
Where is the option to have the FEATURED IMAGE appear on the sidebar, but NOT on the Main Blog Page?
There should be a way to have the F-Image be on the sidebar ONLY; not on the Main Page, also.
If that option exists, where is it?
Currently, it “double-books” each POST (on the Main Page) with two images.
The blog I need help with is revsraine.wordpress.com.
timethief– Thank you, as always, for your “timely” and helpful reply.
Sad to see, however, the same typical WORDPRESS response of which I’m growing so tired:
1. No, you can’t do that
2. Unless you pay more money.
I think I will add a BOLD disclaimer on each post.
Blessings on your day!
You do not have to use the theme you have chosen. You can switch to another of the 199 selections none of which have the feature that you object to in the Bueno theme.
I like the Bueno theme VERY much.
I just don’t like the very “fixable” limitation.
If wordpress doesn’t mind the silly look, neither do I.
You’re welcome. :)
Is it possible to NOT use ‘featured images’, but to add images to the sidebar post-ettes?
If you set featured images, the thumbnails will show up no matter if you select Full Content or Excerpts in the widget dropdown. But in my opinion the effect is better if you select the Excerpts option (as shown in the screenshot); in fact, thumbnails or no thumbnails I don’t see any point at all in displaying full posts in the sidebar. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/05/13/featured-postsimages-in-bueno/
No argument from me on that.
I like the sidebar entries as “enticing peeks”.
