Where’s the template?
I have purchased the CSS editor upgrade and I have some experience in CSS. Problem is, I don’t know where to find the template I’m trying to customize. I need to be able to see the html structure and the existing stylesheet since I don’t want to change everything about the template (benevolence), just tweak some things.
Am I missing something very obvious?
I’m not sure because I don’t have that but I just went to my Dashboard to see and try this:
Dashboard > Presentation > Edit CSS
I’m limited on time today. Please bare with me. :)
Most folks look at the outputter page source in your browser. There’s also a link to your CSS in there as well.
Please note that what you put in teh css editor either adds to or replaces the currently css for that theme.
ahhh how do i get that box thing
Hi there. My crystal ball isn’t giving me a clear picture of “that box thing” so I don’t don’t know where to begin to try and help you. If you want help it would be best if you specifically stated what your question is along with as much information as you can provide.
Have you purchased a css customization upgrade? ->Dashboard -> Upgrades -> Custom CSS
If so have you followed these instructions? http://wordpress.com/blog/2006/08/04/custom-css/
Viewing your page source depends on your browser. In IE, click on View along the top and they’ll be an option to view called “Source”. In Netscape, it’s View and then Page Source. In firefox it’s “View” and “Page Source” or ctrl+U.
P.S. Happy belated Birthday!
