white space at end of post

  1. I noticed that below my post dated Oct 19 (entitled My Father Knows), there is a very long white space. Any ideas why it is there? I notice that it's not on any of my other posts.

I'd like to avoid it in the future. Any ideas?

  2. There's a heap of junk code in your post. You've probably been pasting from Word, which you shouldn't be doing:

For your latest posts, you can copy the text from your main blog page, then go to the post editor, delete the content and paste what you copied, using the "Paste as Plain Text" button.

  3. Thanks for your answer @panaghiotisadam.

It's weird though, I've not been pasting from Word at all.

Is there any way to get rid of the junk code (which I assume would get rid of the white space) for the post in question? Is that what you meant by copying the text and going to the post editor, etc? (Please forgive my ignorance.)

  4. One more idea,

If I click on HTML in the post editor, can I just delete all that extra code that shows up at the end of my poem? That seems logical to me, but I'm not very technologically savvy.

  5. Yes, you can. Everything after your meaningful content can be deleted, provided you've got the closing P (or Div as the case may be) tag in there.
