Whole deal not loading!

  1. When my partner tries to sign in to WP all she gets is a never ending loading page. Just spent 40 minutes searching the forums but couldn't find anything close to this issue. All other sites work fine on her computer.

The blog I need help with is

  2. What browser and version is she using?

  3. Latest Firefox I believe.

  4. Can she try signing in via this forum page? This is a very quick loading page.

  5. It worked. Seems she has an issue with the regular WP log in page. Has that been happening much? Thanks for the quick reply, Raincoaster!

  6. Pages are still slow to load but will work eventually it seems logging in by the forum page..

  7. Actually she is having a slow load on any WP page even just visiting other blogs.

  8. Still slow all over wordpress.

  9. Yours loaded quickly for me as a visitor.

I find when I want to sign in to work on my site, the fastest approach is to go directly to instead of going to the site and then logging in. I get the login prompt if I am not already logged in, but it still seems faster to me.

  10. Slow loading is not necessarily a problem at this end of things at all. It can be a connectivity issue with her ISP, but it's more likely to be a malware issue on her own computer. Has she done a complete scan of her computer? That's what I would do. After she confirms here own computer is clean and she does not have an ISP issue what's recommended is below.

If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at please try upgrading or switching first.

Note: If you are using an IE9 browser in compatibility mode that makes it render as IE7 and IE7 is not supported. To disable see >

If you are, please do these four things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache

    2. Make sure that you have third-party cookies enabled

    3. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    4. Try enabling HTTPS:

If you are not successful let us know which browser (and version of it) you’re using and post any error reports you get.

  11. Her computer is clean, but now she gets this notice:

User toemailer Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested

You are logged in as "toemailer" and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for "". If you are not "toemailer", please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are "toemailer" and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.

If you reached this screen by accident and meant to visit one your own sites, here are some shortcuts to help you find your way.

But there is no link to any of the shortcuts. She is supposed to have full administrative powers as she has had for over two years.

  12. Did you read and act on what I posted above? Did you secure answer to thw questions form the other person?

If so then we are waiting for a response to this:

If you are not successful let us know which browser (and version of it) you’re (she is) using and post any error reports you get.

  13. Yep, tried all that and she is using the latest Firefox.

  14. Please let her contact us directly by e-mail. This way we can troubleshoot her problem better.
