Seems that my Animoto embed codes are being stripped out. No matter how I try to add them, they are not accepted.

For example, I post the following in my page:

    <iframe id=”vp1q0iVR” title=”Video Player” width=”432″ height=”243″ frameborder=”0″ src=”http://embed.animoto.com/play.html?w=swf/production/vp1&e=1385069371&f=q0iVRrMFaqalXNZv6a0TSA&d=0&m=p&r=360p&volume=100&start_res=360p&i=m&asset_domain=s3-p.animoto.com&animoto_domain=animoto.com&options=” allowfullscreen></iframe>

When I save, it gets stripped out.

    Anyone know

The blog I need help with is northgate93.wordpress.com.

I’m sorry, but that embed code will not work because do not allow certain tags on WordPress.com for security reasons including JavaScript, Flash, iframe, form, and input tags. These restrictions are in place to prevent any disruptions in service due to potentially malicious code.

You can read more about this here:

    this girl likes money,

You are seeing the same issue as the original poster in this thread. That code is being stripped out for security reasons.

If using it is important to you, you might wish to look into setting up a self hosted WordPress site using the software and information available on WordPress.org.

    Josh,

Thanks for that. Animoto offers both an iFrame and object embed code to apparently account for sites that remove iFrame embeds. Example is below. Unfortunately, that doesn’t work either.

Do these ‘objects’ also get stripped out if the domain isn’t whitelisted?

    <object id=”vp1Em0ew” width=”432″ height=”243″ classid=”clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000″><param name=”movie” value=”https://d150hyw1dtprld.cloudfront.net/swf/w.swf?w=swf/production/vp1&e=1385418681&f=Em0ewFHcBNHFGL8bGRbVog&d=0&m=p&r=360p&volume=100&start_res=360p&i=m&asset_domain=s3-p.animoto.com&animoto_domain=animoto.com&options=”></param><param name=”allowFullScreen” value=”true”></param><param name=”allowscriptaccess” value=”always”></param><embed id=”vp1Em0ew” src=”https://d150hyw1dtprld.cloudfront.net/swf/w.swf?w=swf/production/vp1&e=1385418681&f=Em0ewFHcBNHFGL8bGRbVog&d=0&m=p&r=360p&volume=100&start_res=360p&i=m&asset_domain=s3-p.animoto.com&animoto_domain=animoto.com&options=” type=”application/x-shockwave-flash” allowscriptaccess=”always” allowfullscreen=”true” width=”432″ height=”243″></embed></object>

You will have to convert it to the Gigya Shortcode using the instructions found on http://wpbtips.wordpress.com
