Why are my posts not showing up in Reader?

Has my blog been listed as mature? My posts are not showing up in Reader…for more than a week. I don’t use many tags or categories. I am now wondering if my blog has been considered mature…it’s not but if WordPress thinks it is, I’d like to know.

    Any help welcome.

The blog I need help with is ourlifedaily.wordpress.com.

I’d like to know the answer to this too – my blog is being picked up by tags but not all posts show. How does the tag Reader work? Is it supposed to show all recent posts with that tag or does it randomly choose posts?
    thanks

My posts have stopped showing up in the reader as well. They used to always show up, but for the last couple of weeks they have not.

Oh wait, totally found out why.

    Missing Posts

If you have published a new post and it isn’t showing up on topic pages for the tags and categories that you’ve used, there are several possible explanations:

    1. You are using too many categories or tags. In most cases, there’s no need to assign more than a handful of tags per post. If you use more than 15 tags and categories (total), your posts will not appear on topic pages (because you don’t want to see irrelevant content showing up there, and neither do we).

Good searching! The reasons for non-appearance are here >
http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts If you have assigned too many Categories/Tags to your posts, then you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there.

You are not using too many categories/tags and I have tagged this thread so Staff will check into this for you.

blogpadproeditor, some of your posts do contain more than 15 tags + categories.

For example, http://blogpadpro.com/2012/11/28/editing-your-post-settings/ has 17 total.

First, make sure that all of your posts have no more 15 categories plus tags total. Then, it can take about a week for your blog to show consistently in the Reader.

Also, you really should consider assigning a Posts page via Settings -> Reading in your blog’s Dashboard.

blogdramedy, there was a slight issue, but your blog should re-appear consistently within a week.

I only had 12 total in my last post and mine didn’t show up either. This is the third time in the last couple weeks my posts are showing up. One of those did have more than 15 but a post before that did not and none of them have shown up.

It’s categories and tags combined. You can’t have more than 15 categories and tags total.

    http://lisabondphotography.wordpress.com/2012/12/09/weekends-in-december/ has 17 total.

If you get that down under 15, your posts should start displaying in the Reader again after about a week.

Hey WordPress…my new blog has never had more than 13 categories in any post and yet my posts are not showing up in the reader. What’s wrong? Appreciate your help on this…thanks.

On http://littlefriendly.wordpress.com/, I don’t see any posts at all other than the placeholder.

littlefriendly – please let us know if you still need any help. As notawoodpecker says, it doesn’t look like your site has any posts other than the first placeholder post. Are you referring to a different site?
