Why are the stats irreconciable?

I am unable to reconcile the stats as shown on my stats page. I always had a lot of likes and a half a dozen follows on my blog per day. But the number of views that day or overall could never be reconciled with the number of likes/follows as the number of views mentioned was always lesser.

Then I saw on Harshit Chauhan’s blog these stats:
    941 hits
    1159 follow

How can the number of times a blog is viewed be less than number of follows? Unless a page is viewed and liked, logic says it won’t be blindly followed. Out of the 100 views I may have 10 follows. How can it be other way around? Is there something I am missing?
