Why aren't my comment subscription emails being delivered?
Several days ago I activated my WordPress account in order to comment on someone’s blog. (Previously I’d only had Gravatar, and had forgotten my password, so had to reset it as WordPress.) Now when I subscribe to comments on a different blog – at which I had previously frequently received email notifications of follow-up comments with no problems – no email notifications come through, even though dozens of further comments are made on the subscribed post(s).
Will you please confirm your settings. You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
Also have you checked your email client spam filter?

I’ve checked the spam filter – there’s nothing there.
As I don’t have a WordPress blog, I’ve never seen a Dashboard. However, from the home page to Settings -> Account, I can see the email address, which is what I expect it to be.
It’s the personal notifications I think I need to adjust somehow(?). All I’m looking for is emails notifying me of comments on someone else’s WordPress blog, having subscribed to them as a non-WordPress user (at least, that’s what I used to get).
Would deleting my WordPress account do anything? Or would that mess up my Gravatar account, too? I’m just frustrated, because this only happened within the last week or so – everything used to work fine. :\
