Why aren't my pages appearing?

I recently added a new page to my blog, and there will be times when it appears on my page, and other time when it doesn’t. The only editing I did as far as publishing includes the order of the two pages I have on my blog. Other than that, I can not figure out why this new page will not appear. I’m not sure if it’s simply because the page is new, or if there is something wrong. Help would sincerely be appreciated, thank you.

The blog I need help with is narcissisticeuphoria.wordpress.com.

I’m having the EXACT same problem. My blog is at http://lwpatricks.com/
At the top I created a new parent page entitled “FREE AWESOME STORIES” and there are three parent pages that should fall under it, however it’s all being displayed.

    Thanks!

I’m experiencing the same problem: I have created pages and they all appeared. perfectly.
Then the last one i added –

    no show!

is this a ‘glitch in the system’….?

My latest blog post seems to stay a draft despite repeatedly pressing publish. What am I doing wrong?

Why have we still not had our queries answered?

    #1144401

I now have 4 Pages that do not show up, either on the main page index, or in the blog itself. What is happening – or NOT happening – as the case may be – ?!

What is the URL of the page? I think I asked that at the beginning. Till you answer the question, I can’t help you.

YOUR page, to which you have given the link, works for me.

    #1144404

Well why doesn’t it work for me? And why is it not appearing in the header/page contents?

    #1144405

Oh, okay… all ‘missing pages’ actually work…. but I still need them to appear in the top header bar. Why don’t they?

And please – don’t use techs-speak. When it comes to technological know-how – I don’t ‘know how’. I’m the world’s worst. So explanatory guidelines on how to get them to show, will have to be stupid-simple…..

Hello….? Anybody able to help with this, at all?

If some pages don’t show up in the top menu, then you had created and activated a custom menu. You need to go to Appearance > Menus and add the missing pages manually.
For details on custom menus see this post of mine:

Thank you, that is extremely useful.
I am extremely inefficient when it comes to technical jargon. It may be my age, it may simply be that my brain isn’t wired that way and can’t “compute” (!) things of this nature very successfully or efficiently.
I find myself constantly astonished at what I do know – and didn’t know I knew!
I shall try to process matters as you have described.
But this may take me several attempts to accomplish!!

It took three attempts to accomplish.
My ‘blog’ looks as I would like it to look, and I’m very pleased with the result.
I have to say I tried examining the “instruction manual” but to an uninitiated technical fudgewit such as I, some of the instructions are unintelligible.

so even looking at a sub-heading such as “select which menu you would like to use” means very little if you don’t understand or appreciate the difference…. I know I sound like a tech-idiot, but there’s a good reason for that.
    It’s because I am.

I wish it wasn’t so, but I guess my brain isn’t always wired in the way I’d ideally like.
    so, I’m slow.
so it takes me a while to absorb stuff…

But I followed your instructions and I finally got there.
