Fresh & Clean theme with ‘Enable mobile theme’ set to ‘Yes’ on http://solidwebdesign.wordpress.com
My Samsung GT-S5230 touch screen phone tries to load my site, but after about 40 secs it ‘times out’ and nothing is on the screen.
Surely my site ought to dish up a lightweight version if it is unable to load it?
Thanks for any of your thoughts

The blog I need help with is solidwebdesign.wordpress.com.

    So my understanding is:
The Fresh & Clean theme is responsive so that means it doesn’t dish out a simpler version for phones that are not up to the standard of ipad, etc.

My Samsung, and others like it, are not capable of handling a full website (that is heavy on javascript & code) and therefore fail to load my website – surely that will block a lot of visitors to my site?

I will look at unresponsive themes.

Responsive width means the the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. When responsive width themes are viewed on mobiles the sidebars appear below the posts in order to provide as much space as possible for reading.

Fixed means the width of the theme does not change according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.

Fluid means the width of the theme changes according to screen resolution (or the width of browser) your visitors use.
