Why does one of my entries appear twice?
I’ve tried to fix this issue on my own using the various tools available on the site, but have not been able to resolve it.
If you look at my blog, one of my entries is titled “Anchorage”, dated Nov. 26th. This entry appears twice – once before and once after the entry titled “Photos from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport”. It should only appear once (before the “Photos from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport” entry).
Can anyone help me fix this?
Thanks so much!
The blog I need help with is rsbrw.wordpress.com.
Certainly odd. I’m going to flag this for Staff assistance. Please be patient while they get back to you.
Meantime, you can mark the odd Anchorage post as “Private” in the Publish box in the Post Editor to remove it from being seen on your site. You’ll still see it as the logged in Admin of the site, as will Staff, but your site visitors should not be able to see it. Here’s more info on marking a post as “Private”: http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/
Just FYI – Threads tagged for Staff assistance are usually dealt with on the basis of oldest in the queue coming first. If you haven’t, please subscribe to this thread from the “Subscribe to Topic” link in the sidebar. That way when there is a new reply you’ll receive notification by email. Most importantly, don’t bump this thread with a new reply, as this pushes your request down in the queue.
I’ve just reported the problem to our theme developers. I’ll keep you informed.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
The problem has been resolved. Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
You guys are awesome – thank you for working on that so diligently and quickly!
One thing – I was hoping that my “Anchorage” post would come chronologically before my “Photos of Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport” post. Would this be possible to do?
Super grateful for all your help – thanks so much!
