Why doesn't wordpress work for me?
When I click on “reader” or go to “wordpress.com” the page doesn’t load. How can I fix this? I am able to go to my dashboard, but am unable to read or follow other people’s blogs.
I logged in as you using Safari, and I’m able to see these. What version of Safari are you running?

Thank you for getting back to me. After you emailed me I was mysteriously able to read both my reader and my site stats. However, that only lasted a few days. Now whenever I try to hit reader the screen keeps showing that it is loading, but it never loads. This was the same problem I had before. Since I was able to get on my reader before I can infer that it is not an issue with my computer or with safari. Please let me know how I can address this because I am essentially cut off from other bloggers that I follow.

Can you first try clearing your cache and then test again? Without clearing your cache you may be able to occasionally see correct information, but it’s not reliable.
I tried to clear my cache and it does nothing. It has worked in the time period immediately after you for some reason, but then stops working shortly after. I have no access to other blogs because of this. Please let me know how to fix this.
Do you still have this issue? If so, have you tried with a different browser, such as Google Chrome? I ask because I’d like to see if it’s an issue with Safari or not. Also, can you go to http://supportdetails.com and let me know what browser version (Safari) and OS version you are using? Thanks.
Yes I still have this issue. It has worked before, so I know it’s not an issue with Safari (since it has worked with safari before). I’ve been able to read my reader a few times (usually right after talking with someone from support) but it usually isn’t working. It’s not working right now so it’s hard for me to read other people’s blogs and build relationships.
Please let me know what I can do.

Thank you for getting back to me. I just uploaded those images to my media library. They should be on there for you to see. One of them is from when i just go to the wordpress site, another is from the “reader” and the 1st one is from the website you directed me to go to. Is it easier to talk on the phone. I appreciate your help with this but we can only seem to communicate every few days. It just seems inefficient.
Hi Aidan, thanks for the screenshots. Have you tried with Google Chrome, like I asked previously? I’d like to see if I can narrow it down to a browser issue or your computer. Can you try some of the other browsers here, please?
Also, your version of Safari is out of date. Can you try updating it and then try the Reader again? You can find the download link for the latest version on the same site mentioned above.
I was unable to download google chrome or the latest version of safari. I took screen shots of both of them. They are in my media library.
You should be able to update Safari throuh the Mac App Store. As for Chrome, I do not know why you are having issues installing it. Your issues seem to go beyond WordPress.com; let me know if you manage to update Safari or install Chrome, and once you have screenshots of the reader in those browsers. Thanks!
