Why has my website vanished?

Why has my website vanished on word press? An error appears “server not found.” It has always been http://www.MelissaCombs.net. Now it doesn’t appear. People trying to locate me for hire have notified me. This is costing me work. Please can someone help? My word press blog is still there, however the home page and bio section are gone. What is happening?

The blog I need help with is melissacombs.wordpress.com.

There is no domain mapping upgrade for melissacombs.net. If you would like to use this domain you will first need to set up domain mapping.

In order to map to a domain one must have an underlying .wordpress.com subdomain blog to map from. If you have registered a .wordpress.com blog you log in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchase a domain name by purchasing an annually renewable domain mapping upgrade for the blog.

See here for mapping an existing domain that you already own http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades is where you do the primary blog set up knowing it can take between 24 – 72 hours for domain name propagation to take place throughout the internet. You can view the DNS changes here > http://www.whatsmydns.net/ What’s important during that stage is to be patient.

Among other things – MelissaCombs.net. seems to be in Redemption with Fast Domains – you need to contact them quickly before the domain name goes away and some Porn site squats on it and holds it hostage

however the home page and bio section are gone. What is happening?

That and the missing domain mapping as noted by @TT makes me think that you might have had a WordPress.ORG install using the WordPress.ORG software and that you were not hosted here – also your blog here is stale – not something I would expect a musician for hire would do

Did you maybe have another Host?
