Why is my blog name appearing with a typo in it?

Add topic to favorites
My username and url are correct in most places but it shows up with an extra letter in web searches, the browser tabs, and on my dashboard when it is following the wordpress logo (in other words in links to the blog). It seems like it just started doing it tonight or at least that is when I notieced it. What would cause this?

There is a g between the a and the t in my blog name.

Yes, i can see that in the grey bar. That is odd as your URL shows the correct and different spelling. I’ll flag this for staff to help.

That’s your Site Title, as site via Settings -> General in your blog’s Dashboard.

You can correct it there.
