When I visit my page tofteengen.com everything looks fine. When I use the log-in and want to add or change something, a lot of pages etc. is missing. Why is that? And how do I reestablish the missing stuff?
The blog I need help with is tofteengen.wordpress.com.
I don’t understand what you mean by “missing”.
Here is where to find posts > Posts > All Posts
Here is where to find Pages > Pages > All Pages
If you cannot find them there then please post here again and tell us what the titles of the “missing” ones are.
If you have created a custom menu then go here > Appearance > Menus and make sure you have incuded all pages and posts and other items you want included. http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/Troubleshooting – My Pages aren’t appearing > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
They must be public pages – not private.
Public – The page will be visible to everyone.
Protected – The page is protected with a password you set. Only people who have the password can view a protected page.
Private – Pages are only visible to blog Editors and Administrators. Private pages are not visible in Blog Surfer, feeds, or in any search. A page can be private without being password protected.Thank you for answering… But I haven’t made clear.
What I mean is that the site tofteengen.com suddenly not are identical with pages and posts when I logged in and want to do some changes. Pages and posts there usely are there is suddenly missing??This thread has been flagged for Staff attention
Go here > Dashboard > Users > All Users and delete any users you find there that are not authorized users
If you find any unauthorised users and you have enabled post by email disable posting by email > http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-by-email/
Change your email password to a very difficult one to guess.
Change your password to your blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#change-your-passwordhttp://tofteengen.com/ is a self-hosted WordPress.org blog, which we really can’t help with.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
WordPress.org has complete support and documentation sites for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress via their Codex and Support Forums.
