Why is Theme editing status is in perpetual "Saving Changes"?
Theme editing status is in perpetual “Saving Changes.” I can’t edit the theme settings.
I’m using Google Chrome Version 26.0.1410.64 on Windows 7 and I have updated Flash.
The blog I need help with is venturelabinnov8.wordpress.com.
Have you tried using another browser like Firefox 21? I’m using it and I am not not experiencing this issue. http://browsehappy.com
Did you purchase a cusom design upgrade?
No changes you try out aside from those such as Custom Background, Custom Header and Theme Options which are stated on the theme description pages for each theme will be visible to visitors unless you purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade?
When using the theme customizer please be sure you have enabled third party cookies. http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
NOTE: If you do not have a CSS upgrade then skip using the theme customizer. All of the very same functions can be accessed from your dashboard.
Appearance > Header
Appearance > Background
Appearance > Theme Options (applicable only to some themes)
Settings > Reading (set a static front page)
Site Title and Tagline > Settings > General
@venturelabinnov8 – I do not show that you’ve purchased the Custom Design upgrade.
With your theme, you are able to see the options for the Custom Design upgrade and you can even try to save any changes you make. But they won’t stick unless you purchase the upgrade, which is $30 per blog/per year. Here’s more information on this upgrade:
Let me know if you still have problems after following @timethief‘s instructions above.
