Widget help in Twenty Eleven

I am a new WordPress user and have developed a site with Twenty Eleven. I have three widgets that should appear on the right sidebar.

I created a post and published it. If you click on it from here, it looks great. However, I utilized the Facebook and Twitter sharing options. If someone is on Facebook and sees a link to my latest post, when they click it there is no sidebar and no widgets.

However, I learned that if you click around enough, they eventually show up.

Does anyone have any ideas for a fix? I’d like my widgets to show every time, with every click.

Thanks so much for your time,

The blog I need help with is michelemcgovern.wordpress.com.

Twenty eleven doesn’t display the sidebar on the single-post view. That’s the way the theme is designed, and you can’t change that. The only fix is to switch to a different theme.

Ah! My site was so new that I wasn’t understanding the single-post-view.

I’ve got it now. Thanks very much. :)

You’re welcome. Note that this quirk is relatively rare: most themes do display the sidebar on the single post view.
