Widget Page is not working

I couldnt drag any widget. What to do?

The blog I need help with is thegreenboxlearningsolutions.com.

I’m having the same issue. Have you had any help? I can’t drag widget, or edit the widgets I have set up…

What browser and version are you using?

    I’m using Firefox 18.0.1

I also have Chrome (which is a pain, because since buying my domain name it won’t remember that I’m signed in, so it messes up my visitor count whenever I use it – doesn’t matter how many time I click “Remember Me”) and same issue. If I click on a widget to edit it, the window just jumps down a fraction. Chrome version is: 24.0.1312.56 m

I’m about to test IE…. if that works, I’ll be miffed… Nope. It does the same thing.

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and restart your browser and then try again. Sometimes it can be due to a corrupted cookie or a cached file.

Done (and you know how much of a pain it is going to be loggin gin everywhere again…)

And, nope. Same thing. I click a widget and the window jumps down a bit.

As I mentioned this problem in a (seemingly) related issue, I’m going to mention that issue here… the other thing that isn’t working is the “Add Media” button on the New/Edit Post screen… OK, I just checked and it is the same on the Edit Page screen… Can’t add images, which is rather annoying with a post waiting to go out once I can add the relevant images…aw

Can you upload the images ok, but just can’t insert them, or is it not uploading the images?

If I go to the Media Library, I can upload images. But clicking that “Add Media” button on the Edit Post (etc) page, does absolutely nothing. Zilch.

I’m not the only person with this issue – I saw it in its own thread (which I can’t spot now because someone has been spamming the forums).

Also, when I went to set “Featured Image”, rather than opening a new pop-up, it opened it in the main window… with no way to get back to my Edit Post page, without entering the URL myself…

Could this be a theme issue? It was all working fine a couple of days ago. I had a different issue yesterday, which is now fixed, but that was strictly to do with my theme apparently. Although, neither the person who started this thread (about widgets) nor the person who started the thread about not being able to add widgets use the same theme as me… so guessing not.

I have the same exact issue as quietlyc.

I am using Firefox 18.0.1 (and also checked in Chrome and experiencing same problem).
I updated to the newest versions of WordPress and Genesis this weekend and I am having the same problem. When I go to my widget page, everything appears fine but when I try to drag and drop or click on any of the widget drop downs, nothing happens.

Cleared cookies and cache and problem still remains.

(noting problems listed above – just FYI – I am not having any problem with uploading images).

Thank your any help you can give to help me resolve this :)
