Will a feature of blocking countries be added in order to avoid hacking?

I have made one remark in one post, that obviously was considered “politically incorrect” by the islamists in Saudi Arabia. The result. They found a link to a wordpress blog (self hosted) that I have made for the humanitarian organization Lions Clubs International and hacked it.

So the question is: -Why is it not possible to block readers by country? And will that feature be added soon? And if not, is it possible to transfer a wordpress blog to a self hosted server in order to add for instance iQ Block Country..?

The blog I need help with is northernblogosphere.com.

    Hello, anybody in here…?

Well, if you notice, your WP.com blog hasn’t been hacked. There are layers of protection in WordPress.com blogs that don’t exist for WP.org blogs. It would be a pretty appallingly bad hacker who couldn’t get around a country or IP block in less than a second. I can do it myself.
