  1. Hey everyone!
I'm having a difficult time combining both my WP blog and Wix. Basically, I created a new website for my WP blog on Wix, and I want for my WP blog content to be displayed when visitors click on the [BLOG] menu button on WIX.

However, I do not want to leave WP. I still want to be able to post to that BLOG link through WP, and I want users to be able to see the WP FOLLOW black bar located at the top of the WIX BLOG page when visitors click on the BLOG button on the menu.

Here is what I am basically getting at:
    1. Have my WIX website seen when WP users enter my blog
    2. Have WP users see the black bar located at the top so that they can still follow me
    3. Have my WP blog content seen when visitors click on [BLOG] on the new WIX website

I have tried to redirect the site, but it only allows visitors to see my WIX website. There is no black bar so that they can follow me, and ALL of my blog content gets lost. I really don't want to start my blog all over, because the WIX blog page is a manual pain in the ass. Can someone please help me? I've been struggling with this for a month, and no forum has helped me one bit. As of now, my WP blog is a subdomain of that domain, but visitors can't see the main domain.

    Heres my site:

    Thank you!

  2. I think I understand, and it looks like you've sorted this out.

From what I can tell, your Blog button on Wix is directing to which is hosted on When someone goes to your site directly or via that button, they will have the option of following your blog there via their admin bar or the follow button. When they click on the Home button on your site, they are directed back to Wix.

It looks like you've executed this rather well. I doubt most people will even know they are going between the hosting platforms.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

  3. Thank you so much for responding! I was extremely frustrated about finding a way to connect the two, but I ended up sticking with the subdomain for my WP. Then I embedded the code in my Wix website so users won't have a hard time transitioning. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to still respond! If I have any further questions, Ill come back to this post/forum. Have a wonderful evening! :)

  4. Thanks for letting me know, and kudos again for making it work so well. :)

I'm going to close this thread, but feel free to open another one if you have new questions.
