Won't stop the importing process when it reaches the end of XML file

I was trying to my import Xanga XML files and it has been in status of “processing’ since then.
I checked the XML file and it imported the “earliest” post already, right before I tried to import this file again.
Is there any way that I can have the process stopped?

The blog I need help with is vickynghk.wordpress.com.

I have reset your importer for you. You can try your import again at any time.

For instructions on how to do a Xanga import, please see:

Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.

I wonder if it is normal to happen or it is only me.
Let’s say the “earliest” post, which is at the very bottom and is the last post of one of the .xml files, is already imported.
If I import the same file again, it will not stop processing, which means I should keep track of it when it reaches end of the file?

This is a known issue with Xanga files, but we’re not sure what causes some files to “hang”. You can try using the general WordPress importer if the Xanga-specific one continues to cause trouble for certain files.

In the meantime, go ahead and continue your import, and post here again if it gets stuck for more than about 30 minutes.
