I lodged a complaint with wordpress.com about an abusive wordpress.com site.
According to the support page the process is as follows:
Our Response to Complaints
We review and investigate all complaints that we receive. If we determine that reported content violates our terms of service, our general practice is to suspend the site. We also may contact the site owner to inform them of the complaint.
If we receive a complaint and are not in a position to make a determination (for example whether something is defamatory or not), we defer to the judgment of a court. Please forward any legal process relating to a site hosted on WordPress.com to [email redacted].
The message I received, through an immediate autoresponder, says:
Thanks for getting in touch.
WordPress.com is in no position to arbitrate content disputes or make any form of legal judgment on allegations or claims. As per http://en.support.wordpress.com/disputes/, please provide us with a formal court order including a court's decision regarding this particular content; if any content is found to be defamatory or illegal by a court of law, it will be removed immediately from the WordPress.com service. Any order, should you obtain one, must be sent to the following e-mail address:
Thank you for your report and cooperation in this matter.

This is contradictory to what the support page reads.
Could someone please clarify?
