Wordpress access in Mumbai India

  1. WordPress access ie any blog url with domain as is not accessible many a times intermittently since last week.

Also dashboard access of own blog is not possible intermittently. Please help

The blog I need help with is

  2. Perhaps Staff can make some suggestions >

  3. This never got resolved. Infact it happens all other blogs too (not mine). I can access them sometime and suddenly I cannot. The staff does not help except replying that they need ping reports

  4. Did you give them ping reports?

  5. whats the point? It starts working properly in a few minutes. But this sometimes causes my posts not being saved and me writing all over again :(

  6. The point is, ping reports probably hold the key to your problem. This is almost certainly a connection issue, rather than a WordPress issue, but if you can't be bothered to give the staff the tools to investigate, I'm not sure you're dedicated to solving the problem.

If you don't want to write all over again, then use an offline blog editor like Windows Live Writer which saves your work constantly to your computer.

  7. thanks offline writing is better. I have simple requirements and hardly any hyperlinks. so I can just use word or something. Thanks for the replies raincoaster & timethief.

  8. also please note that support had earlier mentioned about some issues with one of their servers (i guess the one which has some india connection). This was in response to the same problem on another blog of mine. But problems continue since many weeks.

According to me it cannot be a connection issue. This happens only with blogs with in their domain name. Nothing else at all.

Support always gets back promptly saying - there was server issue earlier, now it seems to be resolved. send the ping reports.

What's the point ? Sometimes it happens every 5 mins or sometimes hours later..

  9. What's the point of NOT sending the ping reports? At some point in the future you're going to need help from staff and they're going to go "that's the one that doesn't follow through."
