WordPress Comment Glitch?

Someone emailed me to tell me that she tried to comment on my blog and got this notice:
“You are being asked to login because (email redacted) is used by an account you are not logged into now.” The person was then asked for a wordpress password (which they don’t have).
Why would this happen? I haven’t been receiving many comments and am wondering whether this is why. I’m REALLY thankful to this person for letting me know.
