I don\\\’t understand wordpress –I have a domain with bluehost and I thought I could use paypal—I wanted a website for art sales???? So can I sell or not????
    Blog url: http://materbona.com

There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. This is the homepage for the WordAds program: http://www.wordads.co/

Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds, no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs. E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.com

If you do require an ecommerce site, advertising and/or affiliate links you can hire a web host and get a free software install from http://wordpress.org Refer to > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

I am an artist and everything I have is handmade by me! So I am quite confused by all this. I paid for a tutorial that let me to register with bluehost and set up a domain and install wordpress. I never knew there were 2 wordpresses…….so my site already has pictures of some of my items–what do I need to do to be able to use paypal on my site: http://www.materbona.com
I wanted to install buttons and a cart–I do not know code which is how I got involved in the tutorial. Since I already have a host and domain, can I simply somehow transfer to the .org version and will it be more user friendly to my simple needs? A cart and a few buttons? Thanks

    Hi again,
Here at WordPress.com we can only use a contact form and/or a PayPal donation button.

To have a site that can be equipped for eCommerce transactions, You will need to hire a web host and set up a WordPress.org install

    You are at Bluehost.

You are in the wrong forum, and the above answers do not apply to you. For advice on tech support for your blog, you need to be at http://wordpress.ORG/support
