Wordpress Like Button SPAM?

  1. Last night I added a new post with some photos I took of some window art. So far the post has only been looked at 2 times according to the stats but I've had two notification emails from WP telling me people have liked the posts.

    When I look at the post there's no evidence of anyone clicking the like button. It usually says somewhere which bloggers liked the post and in my sharing settings I don't have the WordPress like button enabled.

    Is there some sort of SPAM trickery going on to get me to look at their blogs?

  2. There is a "like" button feature on the top gray navigation bar that I don't believe we can inactivate. I'm logged in and I have the "like" button appearing on the nav bar when I visit your site and that post. For a definitive answer on this you will have to contact Staff. Here’s the link After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
