WordPress Stats seem to count my own visits

Today, I switched themes from Coraline to Blaskan. Meanwhile, I marked my website private to thoroughly proof and correct all post and pages.

Strangely, WordPress Stats seem to count my own visits when previewing the corrected posts and pages since the very moment the website has been marked private.

I’ve almost reached my personal all-time high but the accuracy is very unlikely as only 11 referrers and 6 search engine terms are indicated, and all views are assigned to the static front page. I simply don’t expect viewers to beat a path to my website today of all days.

Thanks in advance for your response.

The blog I need help with is brazilliance.wordpress.com.

    Hello there,
Yes your stats are being counted on a blog with visibility set to “private“. See:

Why doesn’t the number of referrers add up to the number of total views?
Not all visitors will land on your blog by clicking a link somewhere else. Visitors may type your URL directly into the web browser, click a link in an email, or click a link in another application which then loads the browser. http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#additional-info

Excuse me! I was not aware that the Stats will show any visits that I make to my own blog when marked as private.
